

A Bit About DIAMANTIS FILINIS
Diamantis Filinis did his Bachelor's of Science degree at the Monash University of Melbourne in Australia. After that he did also his degree at the Department of Pharmacy at the Albert Szaint György School of Pharmacy in Hungary with his diploma paper with the subject of "Performance Increasing Drugs In Sports'.
He earned his Basketball Coaching Diploma from the Greek General Secretariat of Sports in 2007.
Basketball is for Diamantis Filinis a way of life.
As a basketball player he was a short-listed member of greek junior national team, he participated at the 1996 Australian National University Championship, he won 2 Hungarian university championships (in1997 and 1998) while being in both years the top scorer of the tournament.
He also won 2 times the Local Association Championships with promotion to the Tier-3 Greek National Level in
1995 and in 2008. He also played for teams in the Tier-B and Tier-C National Categories.
Diamantis Filinis has been for several years coach of basketball acadenies, junior boys and girls teams, such as women's teams. As an assistant coach he won the Tier-B Greek National Championship with Oiax Nafplio in 2019 and was for the next three years assistant coach of the team participating in the very competitive Tier-A2 Greek National Championship.
He is a member of the Greek Basketball Coaches' Association.

In his everyday life, Diamantis Filinis is an owner of a pharmacy in Nafplio.
