ABOUT:
KERAVNOS STROVOLOU (Gymnastics Club of Strovolos "Keravnos") was founded in 1926 and is one of the oldest sports associations of the country. The club has it's home in Strovolos, the largest municipality of Nicosia and its stadium is the "Kostas Papaellinas" Indoor Stadium with a capacity of 2,000 spectators.
KERAVNOS plays a decisive role in the sporting events of Cyprus for more than 30 consecutive periods. The Association was one of the founders members of the Cyprus Basketball Federation in 1966.
The men's team has won a total of 17 trophies and has continuously participated in the European Basketball Championships from 1989 until today (FIBA EUROPE CUP, KORAC CUP, SAPORTA CUP, FIBA EUROCHALLENGE).
The Gymnastics Association of Strovolos "KERAVNOS" strives at the promotion of sports and therefore the club gives a great importance to development of its academies.
